I am coming to terms with the fact that this blog is looking more and more like a food blog. I can't help it! All my adventures these days seem to revolve around delicious food. I'm not really crafting that much because I'm busy studying for the GRE!

Recently, Emma and I decided we needed Zingerman's immediately.

Emma's I'm-really-excited-to-eat-this-sandwich-face looks like she's going to punch it in the face.

the lunch room

I am so excited about one of the newest food spots in Ann Arbor. The Lunch Room serves unbelievable vegan food. Jessie and I were really excited to go there on opening day after supporting their kickstarter campaign.

I was really excited to eat my cookie!

kitchen helper

This is my friend Ellie, modeling the apron I made for her. Her brother's apron is blue with stars, with bright green striped accent fabric. The aprons were perfect sewing practice to get my skills in tip top shape.

motorized freedom

This is my friend Emma who broke her leg almost 2 months ago. We went on an adventure to Meijer where she could enjoy using an electric wheelchair cart. Look how excited she is!

spring is here . . . ish

So my internet cannot handle uploading lots of pictures to post on the blog, so I am going to try to start posting more frequently, but only one or two photos at a time. Glimpses into everyday life.

This is a photo of me at the girls' social group I run. We planted flowers and ate chips and salsa. The colors in the picture are a bit funky because I forgot to change the white balance setting, but you get the idea.

new glasses

Remember when I told you I was getting glasses from Warby Parker? The glasses above are one of the home try on pairs.

The ones below are mine! I received them, got them adjusted and then readjusted, and now I am fully committed to keeping them. They are the Japhy glasses in whisky tortoise.
These pictures are from before they were adjusted and still a bit big, but they seem to fit now. What do you think?

needle shop

On a recent trip to Chicago, Jessie and I visited the Needle Shop.

It has a fantastic selections of fabric that is also sold online at the etsy store!

We bought some fantastic fabrics (yay for having a groupon!), which we will show here as projects unfold.
